Went into the new Winn Dixie here and found two dimes and a zinc penny in the coin star tray. I may have to hit this one up again next week.

One token at a Walmart machine. It say "no cash value" on one side and the other side doesn't have a business name, so it is hard to tell where it came from.
Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).

Please note that ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- sometimes substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) as well.

I went to the bank to dump some dimes yesterday. As the coin counter started I could tell that there were some large coins stuck in it. I had a mixture of loose and rolled dimes. I just kept unwrapping the dimes until the machine jammed.

The cleaned it out and handed me 3 Ikes. :P There was also a length of chain which they threw out. I fished it out of the garbage, but it wasn't silver or gold.

My son showed me the handful of change he got from a Coinstar today. I saw he had found a 1964 Roosevelt dime. He was pumped to add another silver coin to his collection.

Two scores today.
First one at the bank a local TCF, a couple running change through the lobby machine kept taking change out of the reject slot and running it back through the machine. I asked them if it was Canadian and if so I would buy it from them as I collect coins. They said yes it was Canadian, but they just gave it to me.
1604-2004 Canada quarter
2x 2009 Canada dime
1977 Canada cent
PGA TOUR CHARTER MEMBER PARTNERS CLUB TOKEN

Second one at the local Wal Mart Coinstar. I looked in the reject tray and Holy Cow!
82 cents US
2x Quarter
2x Nickel
1 Dime
10 zinc Cent
2 copper Cent
11 Cents Canadian
2011 Cent
1965 Nickel
1945-2005 Nickel
Wildwoods Waterpark token
Car Wash token

That's the most I have ever found at one time.

I started a job in Nov at a place that has a Coinstar, plus I find lots of random change on the ground in the store, so I've deceided to keep monthly totals. Here's January's haul:

$1.06 pennies (including 3 wheaties: 1945, 1950-D and a dateless mutilated  )
$.95 nickels
$4.50 dimes
$3.25 quarters
$9.76 (enough for a matinee!)

Foreign/tokens (Probably more but I only started keeping track mid-month):

Canada
5 cents - 2013
10 cents - 2007
25 cents - 2007

Mexico
10 centavos - 1992
5 pesos - 1985

Qatar
50 dirhams - 2012

Tokens

A Thursday trip to the Coinstar machine in the local Walmart yielded the following (all from the reject tray)...

7 pennies (one an '82- haven't weighed it yet to see if it is copper- the others all zincs)
1 Jefferson nickel (1984-D)
3 clad Roosy dimes

(1) 1990 5-pence coin (probably British)
(1) 2008 Canadian quarter

So that is 72 cents face- then I found another 5 pennies and a dime in the same store and parking lot, so that makes 87 cents.

Multiple visits to coin machines at credit unions and TDs over the last few week and never a coin in the reject tray. I did get a few pennies and nickels spilled inside a machine that was giving trouble but I believe they were mine already. Found a loonie on the ground this AM but pretty sure I dropped in as I was moving stuff across the sidewalk all night. I have no free coin luck (old money from bank I've hit three scores in about a month though.).

Was at a local Meijer grocery store and walked by the Coinstar and saw silver coinage in the reject tray. Ended up picking up a 1944 quarter and a 1957 dime
