First time finding anything at a Coinstar. Went to Walmart in the evening, and found an epic hoard:

1 1980 Canadian quarter
1 2010 dime
2 obliterated Lincoln cents

Two separate scores on one Smith's visit, all were abandoned in the reject slot.

Bold is new to the collection.

Germany 1 euro cent (2008F)
Germany 2 euro cents (2005G)
Pakistan 1 rupee (2006) (took forever to ID)
Portugal 2 euro cents (2008) (my first ever Portugese euro coin! )

...plus 50 cents in clad and zincolns, including my first 2014P dime (finally!).

Which is where I was for about 30 mins, checking out every country that might have Arabic writing on its coins. WCG gets better and better every time I visit. Always some cool new feature.

Found a zinc at the Wal-Mart coin star of a neighboring town. Not much - but beats the nothing I've been coming up with most the time in recent months.

Had to walk right past the coinstar today in the supermarket...I paused and glanced. Someone left a quarter, 3 dimes, and 3 pennies in the reject bin.

I took them out, looked for silver (none), and put em back for the next beggar.

And now, despite all the evil I've done in this life, I have assured myself a place in paradise. And it only cost 58 cents.

If you had found a silver would you have replaced it with a clad?

Coinstar cat food run today. How do people miss the rejects on this machine? The bin on the Penny Arcades is at ankle level, so I get that some users would walk away without knowing; but on the Coinstar the reject tray is waist high. I saw these coins from 10 feet away as I left the store.

US 49¢ in dimes, nickels and cents were left in the dump tray and/or wedged in the gap that leads to the counter. I happily rescued them.
