LOOKING FOR A DEDICATED INDIVIDUAL TO CARRY THE SILVER STATS IN 2014. I WILL HELP YA' GET SET UP, BUT IT'S A BIT MUCH FOR ME THESE DAYS. SEND ME A PM, IF INTERESTED. (I WILL CONTINUE TO MAINTAIN THE COPPER STATS.) IF NOT, EVEN WITHOUT THE STATS, I WILL CONTINUE TO HAVE THE MONTHLY THREAD FOR ALL TO POST.

It's important to post your SKUNKS as well as your great SILVER finds. That keeps the statistics honest. I'll try to post some graphs of our SILVER finds as 2013 proceeds along by adding data to this initial post. I'll see if I can post some interesting insights into the data here in this initial post for 2013 too. Even though this is a national tabulation of all our finds, I think its fun to know what finds are being made and at what frequentcy.

It might be interesting to see how many Barbers, Walkers, Franklins, and 90% Kennedys are found too. Also, how many Barbers and Mercurys dimes we find. I'll try to keep track of all of these.

Now, go out and find that SILVER treasure!!

The teller saved a 1950 A $5 bill for me. Its not ripped in any way but it looks like its been crumbled up a few dozen times. I think ill still hold on to it.

I am a little bit excreted. Visiting Nebraska and found a bank willing to give me both cents and halfs. First time I visited a bank in months that both knew what half dollars were and had some.

Since my source banks switched to String boxes(from Loomis) I've had 8 skunks in a row. Maybe just a run of bad luck, or the summer silver doldrums.

Stopped @ 7/11 last night found the clerk had a slot full of Halves, asked to see them got a 1968-D for 2 quarters

Walked by a Coin Star today and snatched a 1946 Roosevelt from the reject tray!

Then I read about cardsncoins box #8. Oh well.....

While dumping my change at the bank I didnt find anything in the machine. I handed my reciept to the teller. She handed me the cash and there change drops automatically, and out came a 1962 D quarter. First quarter I didnt have to pay around 5 bucks for.
